Social Media Manager

TBC’s social media experts are unabashedly obsessed with the platforms, content and communities that make social media a prevalent part of pop culture and brand growth. Our social media managers thrive in our fast-paced industry—seamlessly shifting between a proactive and reactive mindset to ensure our Clients are in the right conversations at the right time.

We’re looking for ambitious candidates who have 3-5 years of social media experience and are ready to collaborate with a tight knit creative team to plan, produce and distribute scroll-stopping content.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing organic content strategies for various Client’s social channels
  • Help implement monthly organic content calendars—including scheduling, posting and reporting
  • QA content produced by other team members to maintain brand consistency and quality
  • Serve as a go-to agency resource for social knowledge—striving to be an expert on all things social media including platform updates and innovations
  • Identify opportunities for our Clients to engage audiences—actively participating in brainstorming content ideas based on relevant trends and topics
  • Actively monitor discussions, mentions and trends within relevant Clients’ social communities
  • Sourcing user generated content—gaining and documenting permissions for Clients’ to repurpose
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day social media efforts within assigned Client relationships
  • Study and understand the needs and interests of our Clients’ communities
  • Occasionally support the larger team by writing post copy that adheres to a Client’s voice and tone

Characteristics & Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and Snapchat
  • Proficient using social media listening and publishing tools such as Sprout Social, HootSuite and Sprinklr
  • Basic understanding of how paid media works across the social landscape and how paid advertising, influencer marketing and organic content can work together to grow a brand’s presence online
  • Clear communicator who can express themselves to clients and other members of the creative team—rockstar copywriting skills are a plus
  • Organized and able to adhere to timelines and independently manage priorities to meet milestones
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible in the ever-changing social media landscape
  • Reliable team player who fosters camaraderie
  • Passion for creativity and a desire to do work others admire
